Sad news to report, that Tim de Paravacini has sadly passed away today.

He was an audio engineer of the highest technical standing, a huge brain filled with knowledge, A bright star as gone out and its unlikely that we will see the likes of Tim for a while if ever.

Thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

a powerful force for better sound recording and reproduction: he was full of imaginative solutions for many specialties in this field

While we had sometimes been placed in commercial competition, when I was attacked on some forums he rose fearlessly to my defence

He faught tirelessly for audio improvement ......

I celebrate his many contributions to audio design and recordings
