As the title says, has anybody tried building up sets of interconnects either as digital data or analogue or as loudspeaker cables using the newer Cat 8 Data cable as a base?
I did some experiments some years ago using Cat 5 and 6 stripping out the insulated conductor strands and using them within a new sheath.
I used two strands per conductor for interconnects and 8 and 16 strands per conductor for speaker cables?
