I am very sorry to note the passing of Allen Boothroyd, a founder member of Meridian Audio. He lived for a time the same village as me and that is how we first met. Our village lies on the Greenwich Meridian, which is possibly how his firm got its name. In my capacity as patent attorney, I later had the good fortune to work with him in relation to some of his many industrial designs. RIP
