On the way to the printers any day now, and thence to a mailbox near you – the new issue of HIFICRITIC magazine, including... - Colloms on darTZeel - Ricardo Franassovici on the high end - Speakers from PMC and amps from Bryston - Lots of headphones - Keith Howard on cartridge alignment - And why a kick in the posterior makes more of personal listening. Great read as usual. I was especially looking forward to and appreciated the very comprehensive Dartzeel review.
It would be great also if Martin C could tell us how the amplifier combination sounds in comparison to some known references like tye Naim amps he has recent experience with. Also, how many points does it get?
Best regards Hans

Best regards Hans Also very interested in this feedback. Would be helpful to know how the Dartzeel preamp compares to the Allegri Reference....I appreciate this may not be a totally fair comparison as Dart pre performs at its best via 50ohm connection so comparison would have to be via XLR/RCA connections but approx scores/comparison would be helpful. Looking forward to the full review of the CH Precision amps in the next issue and hoping Martin is able to compare the preamp to Allegri and Dart pre. Martin, have you decided to drop your scoring system? I personally found it very helpful but appreciate that some distributors may not have been very happy with it!! IMHO, your reviews are by far the best in the industry so please continue to do compassions with other products you are familiar with. Outside of UK, it's impossible to do side by side comparisons with a range of top contenders. Many thanks
