Which CH amp are you getting....M1.1 or the new M10? Will you be reviewing them personally? Looking forward to the next 2 issues. By Autumn issue do you mean the issue that will come out in December?

Magico A1. I am particularly interested to see if really can work on a bookshelf. Other reports seem to contradict each other. I always struggle with the concept of a small speaker that you then have to put on a stand, well away from walls, so it ends up taking up as much space as a floorstander.
If I ever manage to build a tiny house, it would be good to know that there is a high quality solution out there. They might be on the second hand market by then as well!

Now that the smaller series SCM7 and SCM11 have been reviewed how about the SCM19 or the Pro series SCM20PSL passive monitor?

Wonderful. Looking forward to your review in the next issue. Are you personally reviewing the CH Precision gear or will it be someone else? Do you know which amp you will be getting for review? If you review them personally then I think you will have a world exclusive as no one else has, to my knowledge, reviewed the CHP preamp and the Dart preamp. I understand that these 2 companies have a family connection and know each other very well. CHP also have a 50ohm connection in their pre and power I believe.

This list can go on forever!
We try to choose wisely based on new product and sample availability.
Also reviewer suggestions, plus price, public interest, and equipment category.
It can never be more than a sampling of the market. Especially in lockdown.
The masssive finance (supported by huge advertising revenue in a storming market )for
review issues such as the A5 Hi Fi Choice series with 40 new products per issue has long
gone. We hope that our interests are not too far from those of our readers.

Martin Hello Martin, Just checking if your CH Precision gear review will feature in the upcoming Autumn issue? Could you please include some comments about the differences between the CHP pre and power and Dartzeel equivalents and also the CHP L1/X1 vs your Allegri reference? Really looking forward to this issue. Many thanks

CH Precision
......a great heap of CH review gear which took a while to become familiar with......
High End sans doubt, and which kind challenges the limits of your perception
Lock down gifted extended evaluation, go back opportunities, helping to refine the evolving critique.
Transparency is key aspect, painstaking set up and system alignment brought rewards here.
